The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, organizes under the aegis of the Association of Faculties of Economics from Romania (AFER) and Romanian Academic Society of Management (SAMRO)the International Conference “The Risk in Contemporary Economy – RCE 2016”, 19th – 20th May 2016.
The International Conference “The Risk in Contemporary Economy – RCE 2016” proposes to provide the framework for extensive scientific debates related to the challenges of economic realities.
This international conference hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration from Galati becomes an important event for academics, business professionals and PhD students, as it provides networking opportunities for both practitioners and researches, facilitating the dissemination of new ideas, research results, practical experiences as well as interdisciplinary approaches in the context of the recent E.U. policies and regulations.
Conference sections provide to all the participants the possibility to present their papers referring to the following main topics:
- APPLIED ECONOMY AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
- CYBERNETICS, STATISTICS AND APPLIED INFORMATICS

All the accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, indexed in the following international databases: EBSCO, ECONLIT, REPEC, DOAJ.
The papers selected for their remarkable scientific content will be published in the Annals of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Fascicle I – Economics and Applied Informatics, a peer-reviewed journal indexed in multiple international databases: EconLit, REPEC, DOAJ, EBSCO, Index Copernicus, ULRICH, ECONIS, ZBW, Cambridge ScientificAbstract, Cabell’s Directory.

Conference hosts – the academic staff of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati – will prepare a special programme, which will include, besides the debates on sections, a round table having the theme “The Risk in Contemporary Economy”, where the business professionals will interact with the participants to this event.
