On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of philological studies in Galati, the Faculty of Letters organizes, on October 25th, 2019, at 11:00, in the Aula Magna, an anniversary colloquium, attended by former and current professors and students, specialists who contributed to the development of philological education at "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati.
The presentations and debates will be about the core of the words and the senses beyond them, anchored in the history, civilization, and culture of the spaces that generated them. They will reveal strategies of representation and textual reconstruction and will bring forward the tradition and valuable results in the field of linguistics, literature, translation studies, applied modern languages, cultural and film studies.
